Fundraisers are offered to support our band program. There are many behind the scenes expenses that many aren't aware of. For instance, we have instruments that are in need of repair. We also have need to purchase new instruments to replace old ones or to add to the band. Expenses are also incurred during travel to and from events. Another expense is to cover the costs for the music itself. These fundraisers help our program function.

Program Fundraisers

  • Limited to 2 per band per year (i.e. marching band, jazz band)

    • Magic Valley Classic - The Marching Show we host :)‚Äč

    • Jazz Dinner Show

  • 100% of earnings goes to the program general fund

    • repair instruments, buy music, pay for transportation, etc.

  • Mandatory student participation - OR

  • Opt out fee - $25 (per fundraiser)

    • will be billed to students who do not participate

Fundraisers are also offered to help students, as well as parents, offset the costs associated with participation in band. Sometimes it can be overwhelming when you think about how fast things add up. We do not want anyone to not participate because of finances. Because of this we offer multiple opportunities to earn money. There have been instances when students have paid for most, if not all, of their expenses with only fundraisers.

  • 75% of earnings go to the individual student accounts

  • 25% of earnings go to the program general fund
